Mizzou Football has added another defensive player to its 2025 recruiting class.

Mizzou Football has bolstered its 2025 recruiting class with the addition of Jason King, a three-star linebacker hailing from St. Louis. King decided to stay close to home, committing to the Tigers over offers from Arkansas, Tennessee, Kansas State, Baylor, Kansas, and others.

Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 210 pounds, King is ranked as the No. 13 prospect in Missouri and the 90th linebacker nationally, according to 247 Sports. He holds a three-star rating from 247 Sports, Rivals, and On3.

King’s impressive performance at DeSmet High School earned him recognition as an All-Metro selection for the 2023-24 season, where he recorded 90 total tackles and 15 tackles for loss.

With King’s commitment, Eli Drinkwitz and his coaching staff have secured six commitments for the 2025 recruiting class, with four players on the defensive side. This recruiting class, featuring two four-star and four three-star prospects, is currently ranked at No. 27 in the nation by 247 Sports.
