Missouri Football secures its seventh commitment with the addition of a 4-star EDGE player.
Daeden Hopkins committed to Missouri football on the afternoon of April 30, becoming their seventh commitment for the class of 2025. The 4-star EDGE player chose Missouri over programs such as Iowa State, Kansas, and Kansas State.
Hailing from Hermann, Missouri, Hopkins is ranked as the No. 365 player in the country and the No. 27 EDGE player. He is also the fifth best player in the state of Missouri.
Hopkins has a unique physical build for a defensive end or linebacker, standing at 6-6 and 210 pounds. This size may open up possibilities for a position change when he arrives in Columbia.
With Hopkins’ commitment, Missouri now boasts three in-state commitments, two of whom rank in the top five in the state. He is also the fourth defensive commit for Missouri in this recruiting cycle.
Hopkins’ commitment marks another significant addition for Missouri, with other top targets like 4-star in-state receiver Corey Simms potentially committing soon. Other names to watch include 4-star CB Charles Bass, 3-star CB Zadian Gentry, and 4-star WR Jayvan Boggs.
Hopkins is scheduled to visit the campus from June 21-23 for an official visit.
