Oklahoma State Secures Commitment from Three-Star Tight End Jordan Vyborny

Before 8 a.m. central time on Thursday, Oklahoma State University gained a significant commitment from three-star tight end Jordan Vyborny of Draper, Utah. Vyborny opted for Oklahoma State over offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa State, and other schools.

Expressing gratitude in a tweet, Vyborny thanked his family, coaches, and supporters for their assistance throughout the recruitment process, announcing his decision to continue his academic and athletic journey at Oklahoma State University.

Vyborny’s official visit to Oklahoma State on April 19 proved pivotal, fostering connections with offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn and tight ends coach Jason McEndoo. The welcoming atmosphere cultivated by both players and coaches at Oklahoma State resonated strongly with the talented tight end.

Reflecting on his decision, Vyborny highlighted Oklahoma State’s tradition of producing NFL-caliber talent, particularly in his position, as a key factor. Recognizing the university’s track record in developing elite players through coaching and strength & conditioning programs, Vyborny is confident that Oklahoma State can elevate his game to new heights.

Despite scheduled official visits to Arkansas, Iowa State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin, Vyborny ultimately committed to Oklahoma State, drawn by the university’s football culture and developmental opportunities.

Regarded by recruiting analysts as a long, athletic tight end with promising potential, Vyborny’s commitment bolsters Oklahoma State’s recruiting class, currently ranked No. 26 nationally with nine commits in the 2025 class.
