Jeremiah Beasley stands out as a unique transfer, having come from a school that hadn’t even started fall practices. Mizzou was in the running for him last year but lost to eventual National Champions, the Michigan Wolverines, in June 2023. Beasley enrolled early at Michigan in December but reconsidered after Jim Harbaugh left for the Chargers on January 23rd. Once Beasley entered the transfer portal, Mizzou quickly reached out to him, showing consistent interest.
Despite primarily playing running back in high school, Beasley is currently being recruited as a linebacker. His running back skills are evident in his ability to evade tackles and showcase speed. However, as a linebacker, his standout trait is his instincts. He reads plays well, evidenced by his constant head movement, and his highlights demonstrate his ability to make timely tackles, effectively neutralizing offensive threats. Notably, he has several highlights of effectively shutting down screen passes with forceful tackles.
