These 3 free agents has been considered by Buccaneers.
Now that the NFL Draft is behind them, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are focusing on adding to their roster in other ways. This offseason has seen a flurry of player movement, with 613 players signing contracts worth a total of $3.9 billion in free agency, along with 257 prospects selected in the draft.
The Buccaneers have been active in both free agency and the draft, re-signing key players like Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans, and adding promising rookies. However, there is still time for them to make additional moves before the start of the season.
One area where the Buccaneers could use some help is at cornerback. While they have made improvements to their offensive line and added depth at cornerback, they could still benefit from adding a veteran like Adoree’ Jackson. Jackson has been a consistent performer throughout his career, starting in 77 of 83 games played and recording 376 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 56 pass breakups, four interceptions, five forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries.
In addition to his defensive skills, Jackson has also shown versatility as a kick and punt returner, which could add another dimension to the Buccaneers’ special teams. Overall, Jackson could be a valuable addition to the Buccaneers’ secondary and special teams units as they prepare for the 2024 season.
