“Bills Rookie WR Issues Disheartening 4-Word Statement Following Minicamp Despite Impressive Performance”

After an enthusiastic start with the Buffalo Bills, rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman acknowledged a shift in tone when he stepped onto the field for the team’s rookie minicamp. Coleman, who charmed fans with his personality during an introductory press conference, admitted to feeling nervous when he hit the field on May 10.

“A bunch of jitters,” Coleman told reporters, as shared by 13WHAM reporter Dan Fetes.

Despite the nerves, Coleman managed to impress during minicamp, earning praise from reporters in attendance for his performance. Pro Football Focus even suggested in a tweet that he could become the team’s new No. 1 wide receiver following the trade that sent Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.

Coleman later reflected on his experience, expressing that once he put on his helmet, he felt a sense of reality sink in. “Once I grabbed the helmet and put it on, it kind of shook me back to real life, like this is reality now,” he said.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane addressed concerns about Coleman’s performance at the NFL Combine, emphasizing that the 40-yard dash time is just one measure of speed and does not always reflect real-game speed. Head coach Sean McDermott also stressed the importance of pre-draft interviews in evaluating players beyond their on-field abilities.

Overall, Coleman’s journey with the Bills has seen its share of ups and downs, but with his determination and the support of the coaching staff, he looks poised to make an impact on the field in the upcoming season.
