Cleveland Browns Rookie Minicamp Sees Contract Signings and Tryout Participants

The Cleveland Browns inked another undrafted free agent on Friday afternoon.

The Cleveland Browns rookie minicamp kicked off with the announcement of contracts signed by five drafted players and seven undrafted players. Additionally, seven tryout players were revealed, vying for a chance to secure a spot on the 90-man roster heading into training camp.

Despite reports of nine undrafted free agents signing shortly after the NFL draft, only seven signings were officially announced on Friday morning. Wide receiver Ahmarean Brown and offensive lineman Jalen Sundell were not among those announced.

Brown, who expressed his excitement about joining the Browns, highlighted the opportunity to learn from established receivers like Amari Cooper and Jerry Jeudy. Later on Friday, Brown was confirmed as an undrafted signee by the team.

Described by Matt Wilson, Brown possesses exceptional long speed and versatility, having been utilized in various roles during his time at both Georgia Tech and South Carolina.

Updates on Sundell’s status and any other roster moves by the Browns will be provided as more information becomes available.
