Collingwood forwards Will Hoskin-Elliott and Reef McInnes face setbacks during the game against the Crows.

McInnes took a knee to the back of the head while contesting the ball on the ground, leading to a failed concussion test for the 21-year-old, forcing him to leave the field.

As a result, McInnes will miss Collingwood’s Round 11 match against Fremantle due to the AFL’s mandatory 12-day concussion protocol. The severity of Hoskin-Elliott’s hamstring injury is still unknown. Defender Isaac Quaynor sustained a suspected lower leg injury in the second quarter but managed to finish the game.

Collingwood’s injury situation may improve in the coming weeks with potential returns of Tom Mitchell (foot), Beau McCreery (concussion), Brody Mihocek (hamstring), and Jack Bytel (concussion) for the Dockers clash.

Adelaide also made a tactical substitution in the third quarter, replacing Lachie Sholl with Ned McHenry.
