The 22-year-old midfielder demonstrated his skill and impact with 27 disposals, five tackles, five clearances, four marks, and 534 metres gained. Notably, Day sealed his performance with a remarkable goal in the third quarter, displaying his agility and finesse.
Despite the loss, Hawthorn will regroup for their upcoming clash against Brisbane at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon, aiming to bounce back in Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
