Breaking News: Panthers Secure 25-Year-Old Forward on Three-Year Deal

New Zealand forward Isaiah Papali’i has agreed to join Penrith Panthers on a three-year contract starting from the 2025 NRL season, with his tenure extending until at least the end of 2027.

Papali’i, who has played 148 NRL games since his debut in 2017 with the Warriors, Eels, and Wests Tigers, brings a wealth of experience to the Panthers. The 25-year-old was named the Dally M Second Rower of the Year in 2021 and has represented New Zealand in 10 international matches, in addition to one Test match for Toa Samoa in 2018.

“We’re thrilled to have secured Isaiah’s services for the next three seasons,” said Panthers Rugby League CEO Matt Cameron. “Isaiah is a world-class forward with exceptional skills, leadership capabilities, and a strong work ethic, which will undoubtedly enhance our team.”
