“Exciting Developments for Auburn Tigers: Miami Commit Eyes Official Visit; Jaylin Williams Set for Warriors Workout”
4-star linebacker Elijah Menendez, who committed to Miami in December last year, has scheduled an official visit to Auburn football. Ranked as the #15 linebacker in the class of 2025 and the #20 recruit from Florida, the Kissimmee native is eager to explore what the Tigers have to offer.
Although Menendez visited Auburn last spring, he hasn’t had the chance to return since then. According to his profile on 247 Sports, Auburn is one of three official visits he has arranged. He will visit the Tigers on May 31, Michigan on June 14, and Miami on June 21. Florida and Penn State are among the other programs vying to sway him.
Menendez has been a key target for Auburn defensive coordinator DJ Durkin. His visit coincides with a busy weekend for the Tigers, with several other recruits scheduled to be on campus, including some already committed to Auburn.
Jaylin Williams, former Auburn basketball player, is set to participate in a workout with the Golden State Warriors as the 2024 NBA Draft approaches. Williams has been actively working to enhance his draft prospects, recently completing a pre-draft workout with the Detroit Pistons, which reportedly went well. PDT Scouting on X stated, “Auburn senior Jaylin Williams had a successful workout with the Detroit Pistons… High motor, good length at 6’8 and improving shooter from deep.” Today, it was announced that Williams has been invited to join a pre-draft workout with the Golden State Warriors.
