Hawks Name Kellett AFLW High Performance Manager Amid Injuries

Kellett brings extensive knowledge and experience to the Hawks, with a background in elite sports spanning two decades.

For seven years, he was the Physical Performance Coach for the Australian Men’s Cricket team, ensuring peak performances during tough summers and international tours.

Before that, Kellett worked at Tennis Australia and as the Physical Performance Manager for the Western Bulldogs.

Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey stated that Kellett’s addition would greatly benefit the club’s young and talented roster.

“We’re thrilled to appoint someone as experienced as Aaron to lead our high performance program,” Bailey said. “Aaron’s knowledge is top-notch, and our players are eager to learn from him as he shapes the program to bring out the best in each player. His leadership and coaching skills make him a perfect fit as we start a new chapter.

“As we welcome Aaron, we also bid farewell to Olivia Knowles and thank her for her service to our AFLW program over the first two seasons.”

Kellett will now join the club’s AFLW program as it prepares for the start of pre-season on Monday, June 3.
