Two Michigan football recruits have announced their commitment…

Two Michigan football recruiting targets are set to announce their commitments in the coming month, according to posts on X.

Four-star running back Iverson Howard had previously set a commitment date but postponed it due to an “inconvenience.” Initially unclear where Michigan stood with Howard, he has now scheduled an official visit for June and a decision date for June 18th.

Michigan, Florida State, and Maryland will each host Howard, who is ranked No. 382 overall in the 2025 class by the 247 Sports composite rankings. Michigan’s running back recruiting board remains unclear, but the June 7th visit should provide more insight, even though Maryland will host him after he commits.

It’s difficult to predict Howard’s decision, but if Michigan prioritizes him, the Wolverines have a solid chance to secure his commitment. However, recruiting can be unpredictable.

Ja’Don Blair has also set a commitment date. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound safety, ranked No. 160 overall in the 2025 class by the 247 Sports composite rankings, will take official visits to Michigan, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Florida State.

Blair’s recruitment appears favorable for Michigan, with much depending on the official visits. Blair is expected to announce his decision on July 5th, giving Michigan a chance to make their case before the elite defensive back makes his announcement.
