Exclusive: Wests Tigers Chairman Barry Breaks Silence on Benji Marshall’s Family Holiday Debate During Bye Round
Wests Tigers chairman Barry O’Farrell has dismissed criticisms regarding coach Benji Marshall and CEO Shane Richardson’s absence during the club’s bye week, amid concerns over the team’s poor performance. O’Farrell, responding to Rothfield’s inquiry, highlighted that the Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) mandates three days off during a bye week for all personnel. He further explained that Richardson is overseas on business, and Marshall is entitled to utilize his downtime as he sees fit.
