Auburn | A notable group of visitors has received a significant boost.
Five-star Na’eem Offord ranked as the nation’s No. 2 cornerback and No. 15 overall prospect, is anticipated to make an official visit to Auburn this weekend.
Offord, who is committed to Ohio State, will increase the Tigers’ total to eight official visitors as an essential two-week period of recruiting visits and camps commences.
Offord attended several Auburn games this fall but hasn’t been back since committing to the Buckeyes in February.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 178 pounds, Offord plans to officially visit Oregon on June 14 and Ohio State on June 21. He’s also mentioned an official visit to Alabama this fall.
Offord’s team at Parker High in Birmingham, Alabama, includes several talented players, such as Auburn defensive line commit Jourdin Crawford and 4-star cornerback Timothy Merritt.
This weekend, Auburn’s other official visitors include Rivals100 cornerback Blake Woodby, who recently de-committed from Ohio State, Rivals100 wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, Rivals100 linebacker Elijah Melendez, a Miami commit, 4-star defensive lineman Kalen Edwards, a former Auburn commit, 4-star offensive tackle Broderick Shull, 4-star tight end Emaree Winston, and Auburn offensive line commit Tai Buster.
