Wiltfong noted, “I’ve talked to sources around Auburn today, and there is a lot of optimism going into the visit this weekend.” Similarly, two national recruiting analysts from 247 Sports logged Crystal Ball predictions this morning for Woodby to land at Auburn.
Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, Woodby is ranked as the #2 prospect from his state and the #8 cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class. Nationally, he is ranked #74 overall.
According to Auburn Wire, this weekend is crucial for head coach Hugh Freeze and Auburn football, as the program is hosting multiple recruits on official visits. Alongside Woodby, the Tigers will welcome five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, four-star offensive lineman Broderick Shull, four-star linebacker Elijah Menendez (Miami commit), four-star defensive lineman Kalen Edwards, and four-star tight end Emaree Winston (Texas commit).
