Darcy collided with Maynard from behind after the Magpies player had secured a mark, inciting a scuffle among players. The incident was deemed as careless conduct, resulting in high impact and contact.
If the Bulldogs opt to accept the suspension, or if their appeal is unsuccessful, Darcy will be sidelined for crucial matchups against the Brisbane Lions and Fremantle.
West, on the other hand, is set to miss the round-13 game against Brisbane due to his head-high bump on Howe, which was categorized as careless conduct with medium impact and high contact.
Meanwhile, Taylor Duryea has the opportunity to avoid suspension and instead face a $2500 fine for striking Collingwood’s Nick Daicos. Daicos’s brother, Josh, was fined $1250 for striking Lachlan McNeil.
