The Bulldogs have unveiled Blake Cavallaro as their NRLW head coach and head of female pathways, marking a significant move ahead of their debut in the NRL Telstra Women’s Premiership in 2025.
Bringing over 12 years of extensive experience from his tenure at the Roosters, Cavallaro has demonstrated his proficiency across various domains including participation, wellbeing, development, talent coaching, and pathways. Notably, he led the Roosters’ Tarsha Gale Cup team to consecutive undefeated premiership seasons in 2022 and 2023 and guided the NSW women’s under-19 team to successive victories in 2021 and 2022.

Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton hailed Cavallaro’s appointment, recognizing his experience and forward-thinking approach as invaluable assets during the club’s 90th-anniversary celebrations and the inception of a new era in women’s football.
Prior to assuming his NRLW head coach role in 2025, Cavallaro will oversee all female pathways operations and player development throughout the upcoming NSWRL Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership season.
Former NSW U/19s player Jaime Chapman commended Cavallaro’s appointment, expressing confidence in his coaching prowess and predicting a bright future for the Bulldogs under his leadership.
