Purdue Secures Commitment from 2025 Running Back Jaron Thomas

Purdue extended a scholarship offer to 2025 running back Jaron Thomas on Sunday, which he promptly accepted, committing to the Boilermakers later that evening. Thomas becomes the sixth recruit in Purdue’s 2025 class and the second running back.

Hailing from Concord High in Elkhart, Indiana, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Thomas had received offers from schools such as Western Michigan, Air Force, Army, Southern Illinois, Yale, and Ball State.

This past Saturday, Thomas participated in the state 100-meter dash and the 4×100 relay.

Initially, Purdue planned to recruit just one running back for the 2025 class, already securing a commitment from Zaire Stevens of East High in Akron, Ohio. However, the coaching staff deemed Thomas too talented to overlook, leading to their offer and his subsequent commitment.
