Donovan Starr commits to Auburn, while Juju Lewis discusses his official visit.
In today’s edition of Auburn Tigers News, Auburn football secures a commitment from Donovan Starr, while quarterback Juju Lewis previews his upcoming official visit to the Plains.
4-star cornerback Donovan Starr visited the Plains earlier this week for an official tour and made his commitment to Auburn football by Thursday afternoon. The Tennessee native, ranked as the #14 recruit in Tennessee and the #35 cornerback for the 2025 class, has built a strong relationship with cornerbacks coach Wesley McGriff. Starr had recently visited Clemson and planned trips to Missouri, Illinois, and possibly Tennessee, but his Auburn visit sealed his decision. He cited the welcoming people at Auburn and his positive interactions with players like Keionte as key factors.
Juju Lewis, a 5-star quarterback and top target for Auburn, also visited the Plains for Auburn’s 7-on-7 competition and is set to return next weekend for an official visit. Although committed to USC since August, Lewis remains a priority for Auburn. He looks forward to spending time with potential teammates and immersing himself in the team environment during his visit. Lewis plans to visit Colorado officially after Auburn and aims to finalize his college decision before his senior season starts this fall.
