Another Quarterback to Watch for Michigan Football in 2026, Top Target Expected to Choose Clemson

Michigan football has excelled at recruiting quarterbacks under coach Kirk Campbell. They’ve secured four-star Jadyn Davis, a top-10 quarterback in his class, and have a 2025 commitment from Carter Smith, ranked 161 overall and 14th among quarterbacks.

Looking ahead to 2026, Michigan was focused on Brady Hart, but Clemson has now emerged as a strong contender for his commitment. Hart recently visited Clemson, and experts now consider the Tigers the favorite to land him, though Michigan will have another chance to host Hart this month.

If Hart chooses Clemson, Michigan is also interested in Troy Huhn, a highly-ranked quarterback from California. Huhn will visit Michigan on June 17th and has offers from several top programs. Michigan needs to regain momentum with Hart or strengthen their pursuit of Huhn.
