Edmonton Elks Re-Sign Fullback Bruno Lagace to Practice Roster

Bruno LagaceThe Edmonton Elks announced on Sunday that they have signed fullback Bruno Lagace to their practice roster. Lagace rejoins the team after being released on June 1. The Quebec native participated in the Elks’ two preseason games against the Saskatchewan Roughriders and BC Lions.

Lagace, drafted by the Elks in the seventh round of the 2023 CFL Draft, returned to play for the Montreal Carabins in the 2023 season. During that time, he won the 58th Vanier Cup and earned recognition as a RSEQ Defensive All-Star.

The Elks will resume practice on Monday as they prepare for their Week 2 game against the Montreal Alouettes at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. MT.
