Breaking News: Collingwood Faces SANFL Bans Amid Scandal

Jack Madgen will miss the upcoming game against Woodville-West Torrens following a one-match suspension for using abusive language towards an umpire. The SANFL’s Match Review Panel handed down the suspension after Madgen’s outburst during a clash with South Adelaide, which included a 25-meter penalty for his verbal insult.

Madgen’s suspension will see him return in Round 12 against Glenelg after Adelaide’s Round 11 bye.

Meanwhile, Woodville-West Torrens star James Rowe has been charged with rough conduct for a high bump on Central District’s Brinn Little. The incident, graded as careless conduct with high contact and medium impact, resulted in a one-game suspension. Rowe and the Eagles plan to challenge the MRP’s decision, as the suspension could impact Rowe’s Magarey Medal chances after a strong start to the season.

If upheld, Rowe will miss the upcoming game against Adelaide and will be eligible to return in Round 12 against North Adelaide.
