Tom Loy, a recruiting analyst forĀ , recently addressed the growing speculation surrounding Knight’s interest in Ole Miss. Reports, including a Crystal Ball prediction, suggest that Knight may be considering the Rebels as a viable alternative. Loy emphasized the proverbial “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” adage in discussing the rumors.
Loy highlighted the competitive landscape Notre Dame faces in retaining Knight. He discussed with fellow analyst Andrew Ivins the possibility of Notre Dame losing their top quarterback recruit to Ole Miss. Loy believes that a significant battle will ensue between the two programs.
