Super League Team Denies Pursuit of Wests Tigers Star Brent Naden Amid Transfer Rumors

The Wests Tigers stirred up the Super League transfer market with reports surfacing that multiple key players were up for transfer. Ever since Chief Executive Shane Flanagan purportedly traveled to the UK to facilitate these moves, there has been a steady stream of speculation concerning their roster as the Tigers aim to rebuild.

It was reported that one of the players the Tigers made available is Brent Naden, a versatile player who can perform on the wing and in the centres. Naden is currently in his third season with the Tigers, having joined them midway through the 2022 season. He made an impressive start with the club by scoring five tries in his first eight games and has a total of 33 tries in his NRL career spanning 69 appearances.

During the current season, Naden has played six games for the Tigers and scored one try. Before joining the Tigers, he spent three years at the Penrith Panthers and had a brief stint with the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2022.

Now, one of the Super League clubs rumored to be interested in acquiring him has issued an update regarding their reported pursuit of Naden.
