Notre Dame’s Peer Recruiting Efforts Impress Top WR Prospect
Remember when Notre Dame football was leading the pack to recruit Brady Hart as their quarterback for 2026? It now seems that Notre Dame is no longer in contention, which isn’t surprising.
Marcus Freeman and his team emphasized that the deciding factor for their 2026 quarterback would be who committed first. That turned out to be Noah Grubbs.
While Notre Dame fans are understandably pleased with landing Grubbs, it seems things could get very interesting on signing day 2026. It appears that a fierce ACC rival might end up landing Brady Hart.
Clemson is reportedly poised to land the Cocoa, Florida quarterback prospect, according to On3.
This would certainly be an intriguing development, opening up the possibility of these two quarterbacks facing off, depending on their schedules and position battles.
While Notre Dame and Clemson aren’t as storied a rivalry as the Irish and USC Trojans, or even ND and Michigan, they’re significant in the ACC slate due to Clemson’s strong program.
Of course, the recruitment journey isn’t over for Hart. He has a busy summer ahead.
The four-star prospect has already visited Tennessee, LSU, and Texas A&M this month, as well as Clemson. He’s set to visit Michigan on June 15-16, Ohio State on June 17, and Alabama on June 23. There’s also a chance he’ll visit Miami between Columbus and Tuscaloosa.
At this point, Dabo Swinney and his team are considered the frontrunners. Notre Dame fans should keep an eye on this, even if they’re happy with Noah Grubbs committing to the Irish.
