Max King and his wife Christy Young have joyfully announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Hercules. The Canterbury Bulldogs star, 25, and his partner shared the news on Instagram, accompanied by a heartwarming series of photos featuring their newborn.

Max and Christy had revealed their pregnancy in December through a touching video on Instagram, where Christy surprised Max with the positive pregnancy test. The couple, who married last October at Sydney’s Curzon Hall surrounded by loved ones, have been open about their Christian faith and their decision to abstain from sex until marriage.
“We are so open about our faith, which is very important to us,” Christy shared in an interview. “It has been such a positive influence on our relationship and communication.”
Christy also reflected humorously on being set up with Max by their pastor and how their celibacy has contributed positively to their relationship and Max’s football career.
