Oregon State Secures Commitment from West Linn Standout
Oregon State Secures Commitment from West Linn Offensive Lineman Jake Normoyle
West Linn (Ore.) offensive lineman Jake Normoyle has decided to stay close to home, announcing his commitment to Oregon State on Sunday afternoon.
Normoyle shared his reasons for choosing Oregon State, highlighting the exceptional visit he had and the genuine connections he made with the people there. “I picked Oregon State because I had an amazing visit. The people here are so authentic, and I really feel a strong connection with the coaching staff,” Normoyle said.
He expressed his appreciation for the unique atmosphere of Corvallis, emphasizing its appeal as a college town. “I love the college town feel of Corvallis,” he added.
A significant factor in Normoyle’s decision was the presence of Coach Kyle DeVan. “Coach DeVan is a huge draw for me—his experience, style, and who he is as a person create an environment where I see myself being successful and learning,” Normoyle remarked.
With Normoyle’s commitment, Oregon State gains a dedicated and talented offensive lineman who is enthusiastic about contributing to the team’s future success.
