Furlani aims to reach an agreement with Zirkzee’s agent to facilitate a move to Milan.

Milan’s primary goal for the transfer market is to recruit a new striker, with Bologna’s striker being their preferred option. While other opportunities have emerged for the Dutchman, the Rossoneri have been leading the race recently but have encountered a setback.

This isn’t their first hurdle; initially, it seemed the deal would fall through when Bayern Munich appeared to re-enter the race. However, Bayern stepped back, allowing Milan to regain their leading position.

The current challenge is more complex. Although Milan can meet the transfer fee, the commission demanded by agent Kia Joorabchian is creating a difficult situation. The club is unwilling to stay in negotiations unless his demands change.

Joorabchian is currently asking for €15 million for his client’s services, a sum the Rossoneri are not prepared to pay. Consequently, Furlani is negotiating to lower this demand, according to Tuttosport (via Milan News).

Ideally, the club aims to pay less than €10 million. If this isn’t possible, Milan will consider other options, especially since Paulo Fonseca is uncertain about the Dutchman’s profile.
