The Ole Miss Rebels bolstered their 2025 recruiting class on Monday afternoon by securing a commitment from standout in-state defensive lineman Andrew Maddox.
Maddox, rated as a four-star defensive lineman from Oak Grove High School in Mississippi, becomes Ole Miss’ 12th commitment of the cycle. He is ranked as the nation’s No. 183 overall player, the No. 22 defensive lineman, and the No. 7 player in Mississippi according to the 247Sports Composite.
Maddox is the first defensive line commitment for the Rebels this cycle and has the potential to make an early impact in his career at Ole Miss.
This commitment strengthens what has already been a successful in-state recruiting cycle for Ole Miss, as Maddox’s addition means that three of the top seven players in Mississippi are now committed to the Rebels.
