As a player, Savard had a distinguished NHL career, playing in 807 regular season games and 25 playoff contests. Savard’s on-ice vision and playmaking abilities earned him two NHL All-Star Game appearances in 2008 and 2009. He also captured a Stanley Cup championship with the Boston Bruins in 2011, cementing his legacy as a talented and accomplished player.
Drafted by the New York Rangers in the fourth round (91st overall) of the 1995 NHL Draft, Savard’s journey through professional hockey has been one of resilience and excellence.
