Exclusive Star Player commits and Reveals What Sold Him on TCU

TCU’s recruiting momentum continued on Tuesday morning with the addition of their 19th commitment for the 2025 class, as Shadow Creek athlete Cameron Jamerson announced his decision to join the Frogs.

Jamerson opted for TCU over several other schools, including Houston, Kansas State, Louisville, Maryland, Oregon State, and Washington. He highlighted the strong bond he and his family formed with the coaching staff as a key factor in his decision.

“The way they made me and my family feel stood out,” Jamerson explained. “It wasn’t just my decision alone; they’ve supported us throughout this process. I really connected with Coach Kaz, Coach Buck, and Coach Juice, and seeing their dedication during workouts was pivotal. It’s a team-first environment, not just focused on individual success—it’s about building a brotherhood.”

Following an impactful performance at the DFW Showcase, where he showcased his lockdown skills at cornerback, Jamerson became a top target for TCU’s defensive coaches.

“Coach Buck and Coach Avalos believe in my coverage abilities,” Jamerson noted. “They see me as someone who can match up against any receiver and excel.”

Joining fellow commitments Anthony “Deuce” Williams and Dane Jones, Jamerson looks forward to reuniting with friends and teammates at TCU, enhancing a promising recruiting class ranked 13th nationally and tops in the Big 12.

“It’s special to join such a talented group,” Jamerson remarked. “We’re determined to elevate TCU’s success even further—we’re here to make an impact and take this program to new heights.”
