Oklahoma State has landed a key commitment from Kilgore College linebacker Chris Robinson, ensuring he will be on campus and ready to contribute to the team for the upcoming 2024 season.
Robinson, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound athlete who runs a 4.4-second 40-yard dash, is projected as a versatile hybrid linebacker. His skill set allows him to drop back in coverage, playing similarly to a strong safety, while also having the capability to line up on the edge and serve as an explosive pass rusher.
Robinson chose the Cowboys over other offers from Houston, New Mexico State, and Texas Tech, among others.

Having visited the Oklahoma State campus last week on an official visit, Robinson’s commitment is a significant win for the Cowboys. He spent his freshman season at Kilgore College, where he worked his way up the depth chart to become a starter. He finished the season with 38 total tackles, two sacks for 17 yards, and 5.5 tackles for loss.
Robinson originally hails from Harker Heights in Killeen, TX. During his senior year of high school, he delivered an outstanding performance, recording 106 tackles (62 unassisted), 27 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, 18 quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, and one interception.
With his commitment, Oklahoma State adds a dynamic and highly skilled player to their roster, boosting their defensive potential for the 2024 season.
