PSG Remains Focused on 26 years Newcastle Star as Arsenal and Man City Enter the Race
Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimarães’ future has clarified following the expiration of his June 24 release clause deadline.
No club has stepped forward to meet the £100 million release clause for the Brazilian, meaning any interested party must now engage in discussions directly with Newcastle to secure the player.
Paris Saint-Germain has been linked with Guimarães in recent months, although uncertainties persist over their continued interest. Additionally, PSG faces competition, with Arsenal reportedly considering a player-plus-cash offer for the midfielder.
With Newcastle now holding control after the deadline, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano provided an update, suggesting ongoing interest from top clubs such as PSG and Manchester City.
🗣️ @FabrizioRomano on Bruno Guimarães’ release clause having expired yesterday: “Let’s see what happens in July, August because top clubs remain interested: PSG and also Manchester City.
