Wake Forest Lands Commitment from 2025 Wide Receiver

After enduring setbacks on the recruiting trail, Wake Forest rebounded today by securing a commitment from wide receiver Bryce Kania out of Princeton’s Hun School. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 195 pounds, Kania received the offer from wide receivers coach Ari Confesor last Sunday and swiftly accepted.

“It all happened quickly,” Kania told Demon Deacon Digest. “Coach Confesor had shown interest in me for a while, but a recent decommitment opened up a spot. It was a bit hectic, but Coach has been upfront with me from the start.”

Initially committed to Rice, where he recently visited officially, Kania was drawn to Wake Forest’s offer.

“I got a call from Coach Confesor Sunday morning, hinting good news would come soon. Later that day, the offer came, and after discussing with my family, it was an easy decision. We knew this was the right move.”

Kania, who visited Wake Forest during a game against NC State last fall and returned for a Junior Day and spring practice in 2024, emphasized the family atmosphere at Wake Forest as pivotal in his decision.

“I felt at home there,” he said. “It’s like a family, and that’s why I committed so quickly.”

Wake Forest has recently tapped into Hun School talent, having previously recruited tight end Dom DeLuca and currently holding a commitment from offensive lineman Nathan Pahanic.

“With Dom, he’s loving it there, excelling both in football and academics. Nathan’s also a close friend of mine, so playing alongside him is a dream come true.”

Now firmly committed to Wake Forest, Kania expressed that his recruitment process is over, turning down offers from schools like Boston College, Duke, and several Ivy League institutions. Known for his competitive spirit and solid performances, Kania aims to contribute to Wake Forest’s pursuit of championships.

“I’m focused on winning,” he affirmed. “I’m a dedicated worker, and I want to help bring championships to Wake Forest.”
