USC Makes Top 4 for 4-Star Edge Rusher

USC Football’s 2025 recruiting summer has been a mix of highs and lows. Recently, another highly rated prospect, Justin Hill, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound pass rusher, named USC among his top 4 schools. Hill announced on Wednesday that he would soon choose between USC, Oregon, Alabama, and Ohio State.

According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, Ohio State is favored to land Hill with a 93% chance, but USC has made a significant impression on the Cincinnati, Ohio native.

“The opportunity you get there is great for life after football because of that USC degree. It’s a perfect place to go do anything you want,” Hill told On3’s Chad Simmons. “A degree from there is extremely powerful. The duo of coach Shaun Nua and coach Eric Henderson is huge for me.

I love those guys and I feel like they can make me better. I feel like they’re one of the best coaching duos in the country in the defensive line room, so it’s definitely a great school.”

Hill has taken official visits to all four schools within three weeks in June. He met with USC on June 7th and concluded his visits with Oregon on the 21st.

Ranked as the 6th best edge rusher in the nation and the 4th best player from Ohio, Hill received a scholarship offer from USC in May 2023.
