BREAKING NEWS: Star Player Firmly Declares Newcastle Transfer Commitment Despite Chelsea’s Interest

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has clarified his stance on a potential departure from the club this summer, with Chelsea reportedly expressing interest in signing him.

According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea have initiated talks with Newcastle regarding a possible transfer, signaling their intent to secure the striker ahead of next season. Sources suggest that if a deal materializes, the transfer fee could exceed the £115 million Chelsea paid for Moises Caicedo last year.

Isak, who joined Newcastle from Real Sociedad in 2022, has garnered attention from Arsenal as well, with the Gunners monitoring his situation closely as they seek to bolster their attacking options.

Addressing speculation about his future, Isak told Fotballskanalen earlier this month, “I’m enjoying my time at Newcastle and had the best season of my career—something I cherish deeply. I have no intention of leaving; there have been no discussions or indications from the club suggesting otherwise.”

Newcastle, under pressure due to Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSRs), have acknowledged that every player has a price. Therefore, they could consider selling Isak if a substantial offer from Chelsea or another club is tabled.
