St. Louis CITY SC has secured the services of defender Jayden Reid with a first-team contract extending through the end of 2024, including club options for 2025 and 2026. Reid, who is 22 years old, made his MLS debut on June 22 against Atlanta United, where he played the entire 90 minutes. He followed this performance with another full match against the San Jose Earthquakes. Notably, CITY SC holds a record of 1-0-1 in matches where Reid starts as a left-back.

Before joining CITY SC, Reid was a part of the Red Bulls Academy and became the 29th player to be signed as a Red Bulls Homegrown on December 21, 2022. During his time with CITY2, Reid started in 13 matches and provided two assists from the left-back position.
