The Miami HEAT announced today that they have signed guard Zyon Pullin to a Two-Way Contract. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, in line with the club’s policy.
Pullin, an All-SEC First Team selection, played in 33 games (27 starts) as a graduate transfer at Florida last season. He averaged 15.5 points, 4.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 33.5 minutes per game, with shooting percentages of 44.4% from the field, 44.9% from three-point range, and 84.7% from the free-throw line.
He set a single-season school record with a 3.77 assist-to-turnover ratio and began the season with a 23-game streak of double-figure scoring, the longest such streak to start a Gator career.
Pullin ended the season with 512 points, joining teammates Walter Clayton Jr. and Tyrese Samuel in becoming part of the first trio in Florida history to each score at least 500 points in a single season.
He also recorded at least 20 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in consecutive games on January 27th and 30th, becoming one of only two Gators to achieve this multiple times in the same season since 1996.
Additionally, he led the team in assists and free throws made, and finished second in points and minutes, and third in field goals made and three-point field goals made.
