Air Force to name the renovated east side of Falcon Stadium after the project’s lead donors.

The new east side of the Air Force Academy’s Falcon Stadium will be named the Kucera Legacy Center, honoring the family that led donation efforts for the construction, reports Brent Briggeman of the Colorado Springs GAZETTE. The Kucera family’s $10M donation spearheaded the $90M project. The east side will include club seating, a full kitchen servicing the stadium, a year-round Falcons team shop, an area for hosting recruits, and a large central room for banquets, weddings, reunions, and corporate events. The center is scheduled to open for the first football game of the season on August 31 against Merrimack College, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony set for September 6.
