Auburn’s Five-Star Recruit Awarded Elite Rating in College Football 25

EA Sports College Football 25 is set to release on July 19, marking the franchise’s first game since 2013. The previous installment, NCAA Football 14, featured former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson on the cover.

As the release date approaches, player ratings have begun to leak. YouTuber “NTE” revealed that Auburn Tigers receiver Cam Coleman will receive an overall rating of 81 in the game.

Coleman, known for his incredible speed with a rating of 93, will also have impressive stats, including a 91 for spectacular catches and a 96 for jumping. It’s unusual for a player yet to take the field to have such high ratings across multiple attributes.

Coleman, originally committed to Texas A&M for the 2024 class, switched his commitment to Auburn under Hugh Freeze in December 2023. As a former five-star recruit and the No. 2 receiver in his class according to On3 Industry Rankings, his high ratings reflect his potential.

Under Hugh Freeze, the Tigers had a strong recruiting class for 2024. Key players from this class include Cam Coleman, four-star wide receiver Perry Thompson, four-star edge rusher Amaris Williams, and four-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick.

For the upcoming season, Auburn will retain key offensive players such as Payton Thorne and Jarquez Hunter. Additionally, Eugene Asante, last season’s leading tackler, will return in 2024.
