Parente, 24, joins the Galaxy after a productive stint with Ventura County FC, where he scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist in 16 appearances this season. He also made one MLS appearance for the Galaxy earlier this year. Before his time with Ventura County, Parente was a homegrown player for Columbus Crew, where he made 13 MLS appearances and one appearance for Crew 2 in MLS NEXT Pro.
Despite coming from MLS NEXT Pro, Parente brings valuable MLS experience from his time with both the LA Galaxy and Columbus Crew. His familiarity with the pressures of playing in a major league setting could make him a key addition to the Galaxy’s roster.
