LSU Football Star’s Shocking Arrest: Charged with Video Voyeurism, Faces 3-Year Jail Term according to reports.

Javien Toviano, a sophomore cornerback for LSU, was arrested over the weekend on serious charges of video voyeurism. Toviano surrendered to authorities in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Sunday after an arrest warrant was issued. He is accused of secretly recording a sexual encounter with a woman without her consent.

The incident came to light when the woman discovered multiple videos of her and Toviano on his iPad. According to The Times-Picayune, the videos were recorded using a clock with a built-in camera, strategically placed near the bed. The woman informed the police that Toviano had previously recorded their sexual encounters despite her explicit objections.

During an interview with detectives, the 19-year-old Toviano admitted to using the hidden camera to record their intimate moments. As a result of these allegations, LSU announced on Sunday that Toviano has been suspended from all team activities, following the university’s departmental policies. The school has stated that it will not provide further comments until the legal proceedings are concluded.

Toviano, who hails from Arlington, Texas, had an impactful freshman season, appearing in every game and making three starts. He recorded 33 tackles and one pass breakup during his first year with the Tigers. This arrest and the subsequent charges have cast a shadow over his promising football career.
