August is shaping up to be a significant month for recruiting, with several prospects poised to announce their college choices before their senior seasons begin.
Adding to the excitement, three-star Mansfield (TX) Timberview defensive back Nathan Tilmon has revealed that he will announce his commitment on August 10th.
Tilmon will choose among TCU, Texas, and Utah.

Tilmon was previously committed to SMU but decommitted last month after official visits to Austin and Salt Lake City. His final three schools, which he revealed last month, remain the same as he approaches his decision day.
Texas has already flipped running back Rickey Stewart from SMU this cycle and now looks to potentially secure another SMU recruit in Tilmon. However, they must compete with two Big 12 teams (a surprising inclusion for Utah) to land him.
With just over a week until Tilmon’s decision, 247Sports has predicted that the Longhorns will come out on top. We’ll see if this prediction holds true on August 10th.
