After a Mercedes star was accused of giving away an F1 trophy, the situation surrounding Lewis Hamilton was cleared up.
Lewis Hamilton did not deliver his Formula One trophy to a fan over the weekend, according to Mercedes.
This season, the British driver finished third in the Formula One Drivers’ Championship, and as a result, the FIA awarded him a reward.

On social media, a fan subsequently stated that Hamilton had handed him his trophy as a “gift.”
The FIA and Hamilton do not get along well; Hamilton is still bitter about his 2021 F1 championship loss.
Mercedes, however, has refuted claims that the racer from Stevenage gave away his trophy, saying that the rumors were unfounded.
A statement said, “Lewis accepted the offer from officials to send the trophy on to the team and left it in their care immediately after leaving the stage, as has been done at previous prize givings.”
“We can verify that, contrary to what has been rumored, he did not give the trophy to anyone as a gift.”
Once more, the admirer who said Hamilton had given away his prize has returned on social media.
Furthermore, they maintain that there was a “misunderstanding,” adding that Hamilton thought he was a part of the Mercedes team.
They said, “Hello, good evening,” on X.
“I am rather unhappy to observe
“Seeing texts addressed to me like a thief or anything makes me really unhappy.
“Let me start by saying that I didn’t take anything from anywhere.
This is merely a miscommunication. The prize was placed on the table by Lewis Hamilton. I begged to have the award given to me.
He said, “You can accept the prize,” to me. And I believed he gave me the prize as a gift.
