The Nets would land Lonzo Ball as part of a salary dump from the Bulls, freeing up cap space for the summer, while also receiving a first-round pick for acquiring Cam Thomas. The Bulls, in turn, get an emerging star guard to aid their rebuild and a second-round pick from Boston.
For the Celtics, this trade would add depth to key positions. Torrey Craig would provide a veteran presence at the wing, offering solid defense and a three-point shooting option, despite some struggles this season. Last year, he shot 39.2% from beyond the arc with the Bulls, and could offer Boston more scoring power off the bench.
Day’Ron Sharpe, a potential backup center, would provide much-needed frontcourt depth.
