NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Nashville Soccer Club has announced the trade of one of its key defenders, Shaq Moore, to FC Dallas just after Christmas.
In exchange, Nashville SC will receive up to $150,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM), depending on Moore’s performance metrics.
Moore joined Nashville in 2022 from CD Tenerife in Spain’s La Liga 2. The U.S. international has played in 83 matches across Major League Soccer, Leagues Cup, Concacaf Champions Cup, and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, recording two goals and 14 assists.
As part of the deal, Nashville SC will receive $50,000 in 2025 GAM from FC Dallas, with the potential to earn up to an additional $100,000 in conditional GAM based on Moore’s performance. Additionally, Nashville retains a sell-on percentage if Moore is transferred to a team outside MLS in the future.
