Colorado Avalanche defenseman Keaton Middleton has signed a two-year contract extension, keeping him with the team through the 2026-27 season. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
At 26 years old, Middleton has played 10 games for the Avalanche this season, posting a plus-1 rating but no points. He has also recorded four assists in 16 games with the Colorado Eagles in the AHL. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 240 pounds, Middleton has appeared in 13 NHL games but has yet to score a point. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
