As visits are once again allowed, the Auburn football program is actively scheduling them, with three transfers set to visit in the coming days. After a successful first transfer portal window, where Auburn brought in 14 new players—outnumbering those who left—there are still several positions to fill. Head coach Hugh Freeze and his staff are continuing their work to strengthen the team.
One of the transfers lined up for a visit is former Auburn defensive lineman Jeffrey M’ba, who previously played at Purdue. In addition, three more transfers are set to make their way to Auburn soon.
The first is Terry Webb, a former Texas State defensive lineman. Webb, who spent two years with the Bobcats and recorded 43 tackles and 3 sacks, will visit Auburn with one year of eligibility remaining. Auburn has already added one defensive lineman, Dallas Walker IV from Western Kentucky, but additional reinforcements are needed.
Next is AJ Hoffler, a former Clemson edge rusher. Hoffler, who will have two years of eligibility left, recorded 13 tackles and one pass breakup during his time with the Tigers. Auburn has yet to add an edge rusher through the portal.
The final transfer to set up a visit is Chris Murray, an edge from Sam Houston State. Murray, who has two years of experience and recorded 50 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles with the Bearkats, is visiting Auburn soon. He has already visited other schools and plans to check out more after his time in Auburn.
