There were rumors linking the Phillies to free agent Alex Bregman, but MLB insider Robert Murray believes it’s unlikely unless they clear space by trading big salaries like Nick Castellanos. Murray suggests that unless a major deal happens, Bregman is more likely to join teams with more financial flexibility, such as the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, or Toronto Blue Jays.
